I tend to keep in touch with the `old naval aviation crowd` via the secret facebook Group. Glad that you, too, are still out there!Hogdayafternoonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06188146617570775741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3434417594974826136.post-53583284066901093072014-09-24T01:14:07.751+01:002014-09-24T01:14:07.751+01:00HD:

I had almost given up on seeing you post.

I would have replied on the previous post, but couldn't figure out the "prove you're not a robot" code. Think I have this one sussed (? correct spelling/usage/).

Anyway, I'm most happy that you are alive and (mostly?) well.

Paul L. I have come to the conclusion that we are better together although I think in the final analysis the Scots need England more than England needs the Scots.
I have been ever so slightly 'anti' the Scots since the 1991 Rugby World Cup Final when I saw hordes of Scots parading around Twickenham in Kilts and Australian shirts saying they were 'honorary aussies' and would support whoever was playing England - that attitude works both ways. I now adopt their stance - I support whoever the Scots are playing against - it does upset them. I have been in rugby clubhouses in England where the ex pat Scots loudly proclaim their support of whoever is playing England. Try that in Scotland if you dare.
BTW I agree with what you say about Salmond. He is a consummate politician. That is not a compliment.
RetiredAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3434417594974826136.post-70227232173438950622014-09-19T13:56:03.594+01:002014-09-19T13:56:03.594+01:00Scotland Forever!
