It's a pissy, sleety, cold day here in northern England. On days like this I dig out some `feel good` photo's of warmer times and places. Must check the Beemer's front brakes, which were binding on because of road salt, which clearly wasn't in short supply around this here vicinity. Roll on Spring and a win on the premium bonds.
Surely if you win the premium bonds you don't need to wait until spring?
I have been known to post travel pics on miserable days - it's good therapy! London is a bit nearer than the Western United States, and there is warming beer to be had... ;-)
The suffering one must do to go for a nice ride. I'm still trying to figure out how I work out my bike's brakes so fast...I guess I should slow down...
Blue: I'm looking at a possible run down south this weekend, but a 600 mile round trip @ 3C is not good, even with top notch riding gear and electrically heated grips. As for the garage, it seems like half of our former `deep south` home is still in there!
Dickiebo: Mrs H has the credit for firing most of them over my shoulder.
CI-RD: I can rip it up when the vision is there, but low and slow is a great way to see the countryside. "Ride steady, live long";) I have a BMW GS with servo brakes requiring one finger, and the Road King that requires both fists, a right foot and a next-door-neighbour. Get mixed up as to which you're using and the results can be felt in your pants :-/ Must get some braided hoses this year.
Things have warmed up considerably since the CPS announced a few MPs have been charged with fraud. I wonder if we could warm up the country by setting fire to Parliament? We could always claim a public service defence. I have a book chapter to get done, no enthusiasm and weather best seen from inside a warm pub. The good news is it's worse in Saratoga Springs and we can't afford to go until after Easter.

Oh, and p.s. your garage is bigger and tidier than my whole flat.
Great pix!

I better hope it warms up, then...
