G'day HdA:

Glad to see you back, haven't seen you around Lex's place lately either.

I hope your Christmas went well.

Nah, I'm a deputy sheriff, I can't be a trooper, I have a sense of humor. Every class at the Wisconsin State Patrol Academy gets taken down to the University of Wisconsin Hospital, to have thier senses of humor surgically removed.

Dealt with two drunks Christmas Eve. We had intermittent light snow that night, and I must say, the red and blue LEDs of a Federal Signal ARJENT lightbar do kind of look Chrsitmassy, as they light up the falling snow. Four more nights to Amatuer Night, when the amatuer drunks come out to play!

Hi Dickiebo, same to you old chum!

Hi Sage, same to you and, no, we haven't picked up the accent, nor are we likely to, although we do enjoy a mardle over the garden gate :-/

Thanks Suz. I found that pic on google images so I cannot claim it as my own, more's the pity. I suspect is Bruges or some other european city. Christmas was indeed beautiful, with my son and his fiancee sharing it with us for the first time since i parted company from his mother back in 1995, so there was much joy in the Hogpen:)

G`day PLQ. I've been preoccupied with moving and all it enhtails. I have been dropping in to Lex, but not as frequently as i'd like and not long enough to get a word in edgeways ;)

Hi JuliaM. I hope you one is good, too!!!

Scott: Ah, the delights of the commodity of our chosen career; that most unpredictable of all things good and evil (not the stockmarket). Beware the seasonal domestic incidents eh! Oh how they marred my Xmas's past.

Merry Everything to the Hog Day clan! I'm a little behind because I'm on Maui and all the idling on sunny beachs and poolside cocktailing has addled my sense of timing. Again. Ah well, it's not too late to be the first to wish y'all a happy 2012, right? :-)

Ha! Bumhug! Is it over yet?

Hope you had a good one. I think my family are trying to kill me with chocolate...

Hi Tony. Although a non religeous type, I still smart at the hi-jacking of this festival. Had my son visit with fiancee. the first time I've had one of mine with me for 16 years (since i parted company from his mother) Great occasion.

Friday night, and the drunks are already out in force. 3 DUIs and a fight in a hotel lobby. I am not looking forward to Saturday, as New Years Eve will have blizzard conditions. Snow anf 45 MPH winds. That's 75kph. There's gonna be traffic accidents tonight! Drunks handle white outs so well when they drive.
