Bear in the air

I understand that some police forces are starting trials with unmanned aerial `drones` like the military use in Iraq and Afghanistan. These can be `piloted` from a control room many, sometimes thousands, of miles from the scene under observation. I have found a good example of how these can be of tremendous use to those `on the ground`. I can think of a few times I wish I could have called in one of these. I wonder if they can drop "Policing Pledge" leaflets?

Is that the wrecking ball man in his new job after getting sacked for the car incident?

Both good shots

Got to be cheaper than running 98 and 99 to an incident.
Less fun though.

Same old callsigns then! (Or is `India` now considered non PC on account of what happened during the mutiny? I blame the Catering Corps. Fancy issuing smoky bacon flavoured crisps)

You jest - but they don't! I'd never thought about that before!

It doesn't look good Hogday. I know the force/service caught a suspect under a hedge but they didn't have a license to operate. Will this man be let off on a technicality?

More to the point - how long will it be before all our cities have these flying eyes in the sky reporting on every dropped £10 note and every child's lost banana, resulting in automatic fines? It's a stupid situation for a so-called democratic country to be placed in.

The main purpose of a drone is to mate with a Queen. They do this in flight. Should a drone succeed in mating it will soon die because the penis and associated abdominal tissues are ripped from the drone's body at sexual intercourse.

I don't fully understand why I should associate this with police work. Somehow, I connect this with the secret rituals undergone before progress to SMT.

Sometimes things have gone so wrong it is tempting to think that smashing everything up and starting again might be the best way forward!
