Le mot de Cambronne seems most fitting in this regard.

I'll take the money that's part of the prize. The rest - meh.

I know Tom Lehrer said something along the lines of satire dieing when Henry Kissinger was awarded the Nobel price but this? and coming after Barack Obama won the prize for essentially not being George Bush I suspect the commitee may be smoking crack. Any bets on Assad, Mugabe or Ahmedinajad winning soon?

The puppy would be much more entertaining.

Anonymous - we could start a pool. But then I think Pol Pot has a chance at a posthumous award. He did bring peace.

I stole this concept from a graffitti seen in a University lavatory, scrawled above a toilet tissue holder; "Sociology Degrees - please take as many as you like"

"Sociology Degrees - please take as many as you like" The lavatory - ever the source of profound inspiration.

BTW, graffiti is plural of graffito.

Thanks anon. I can't recall if I put in the `a` or `i` in error. I think it was the `a` that went in by mistake. I must get a new proof reader ;)
