Don't try this at a marina near you

Slow speed control is a skill that requires practice, balance, practice, practice....... and a yacht.

And always know how wide your damn saddlebags are.....

This video is good for a chuckle and a learning tool.

MTG: I suspect its more sfx than reality ;)

Troub`: The links that accompany that clip are from France. Now I know why the French come up with some outrageous laws for their road users. Just wish the Euro Union would recognise that we're not all like them. Long live The English Channel.

You need to click through to the "original." There is much more to the story.

I remember seeing this movie....years ago - of this WW2 unit that was being made of motorcyclists. They took a bunch of guys who had never ridden, gave them each an OD Harley, a Sgt who was very experienced...and for a long time the Sgt - in training them - had them do low speed maneuvers.

Aside from that HD your remark - in all the French laws - goes to my contention that "society sinks to the lowest common denominator".

Oh my word...agree with Trob...know how wide your saddlebags are!! The guy seemed smart enough to at least let the bike go, not trying to hang on.
