Where does one look for inspiration these days?

On the left is last months Home Secretary, someone in whose hands were entrusted amongst other things many aspects of internal national security . On the right, a few pebbles that sit in my kitchen window. They are from Omaha Beach, Normandy, France. I cannot think of a greater inspiration than to look upon those five pebbles.

The stones have it for me. They won't lie, they won't mislead you and the worst they can do is allow the sea to wash the precious blood that was once spilled upon them.

My regards.

Amen, to the above.

Nicely put, HD and CC. Sadly true.

HD, I shouldn't make light of it I know and apologize.

But if I were to caption the photo on the left...

"You must be this big to go on my ride",
in a carnie type voice, would come to mind.

PG: That would most def` fly! Of course you may not be aware (depending on Canadian media coverage) that her husband put in a $20 claim on her behalf, for `necessary expenses` to watch a couple of soft porn films on satellite tv - charged to the British taxpayers. That opens up a whole new world of captions doesn't it!
