48 hours in England

Every time I feel cheesed off, I jump on one of my motorbikes or my bicycle and just sort of ride around.

A few snaps from places I've visited and things I've seen over the last 48 hours.

So glad I quit my job.

Cheesed off? Unemployed? Get a grip man!!

(Nice pics though. You need a road bike. Coincidentally I have one that I don't use...)

Blue: You're right. Even when I'm not cheesed off I jump on the bike. I haven't owned a `road` bike since I was a beat sgt and that was a 1950's bone shaker with rod brakes.[And before you come back with your wit de razoire, I wasn't a plod in the 1950's.]

Just realised, I can't see all the pics I posted unless i view it on Internet Explorer - and I use Firefox! Time to swap to Wordpress, maybe?

Riding about taking photographs? It'll be a plane-spotting holiday in Greece next!
Some poor sods collating the Mets' latest hi-tech geopositioning and Internet communications software will have a hard time with these Hog! Quite what these activities are a decoy for ...

What a nice time of year for driving around. As I lurked along county roads last night, I could smell the freshly tilled earth of the farms here in Central Wisconsin, and saw the lights of the big Deere and CAT tractors pulling 12-16 row corn planters. Ah, Spring. Of course, a month from Sunday, the days start getting shorter! Winter is coming!

Scott: Ahh, the smell of Wisconsin! I hope to sniff it myself someday - from my very own Milwaukee Tractor (2003 Road King) lol

Great photos, makes me keen to leap on my bike and go for a ride tomorrow.... Sadly I think I'm going to be laying flooring at home tomorrow rather than searching out a patch of derestricted road and a country pub for lunch.

Unless I can distract the trouble and strife, whilst making good my escape.

Real stupid question for you. Saturday and Sunday nights on Wisconsin Public Radio has 3 hours of Old Time Radio. Last night, one of the shows was a Tarzan episode. It was bothering me that I could not remember Tarzan's first name. I knew he was Lord Greystoke, but could not remember his name. I looked him up on the internet, and he is John Croyden, 7th Lord Greystoke. I also found out that in one of the novels, it turns out that the Greystokes had owned lots of timber land in Wisconsin, and indeed, he and Jane were caught in a forest fire up by Duluth/Superior. So tarzan must have a WI driver's licence. Now here, of course, the DL would be John Croyden, and his WI address. Would his British one be for John Croyden, or John, Lord Greystoke?

I said it was a dumb question. But not as dumb as the verification word for this post: snostess
